Firstly THANK YOU so much for being here. This is my dream. To create a space for us to CONNECT, to MOVE, to BREATHE.
My story began back in 2013 when I was commuting 4 hours a day to a corporate job that I despised in London. Life felt pretty bleak. Then came my first beautiful teacher Vessy. She worked in the same building and I persuaded her to put on a Yoga class for me and a couple of others in the building once a week. I felt like she saw into my soul. With her knowledge and teaching style she created a SAFE SPACE for me to work through my feelings and make some big life decisions (yes all that from what seems to be a physical practice!). She gave me the courage to step out of the job and move forward on a more POSITIVE path. When I left London I told Vessy I would do for others one day what she did for me.
Fast forward 4 years and, after a lot of soul searching across the globe, I decided it was time that I invested in a career that would make a difference. Enter The Yoga People. I booked their 200 Hour Ashtanga & Rocket Training in India. This was the most EMOTIONAL journey of them all - a month of Yoga, 8 hours a day, is guaranteed to shift something in you. 2 Years later I signed up for a second 200 Hour training in Hatha, Flow and Power with YYOGA in Canada. This was a more anatomically focussed training and gave me the CONFIDENCE to take the leap into the world of teaching.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU
Yoga has become a form of THERAPY for me. I'm not here to tell you it will solve all your problems. But it can build you a toolkit to understand yourself better and become more self aware - and then to start to ACCEPT what you find. On top of all that it can help you build better strength and mobility in your PHYSICAL body which helps you in turn to feel fantastic.
I teach public classes where you can join a COMMUNITY of people who enjoy moving mindfully and discover the beauty of the practice. These classes are for all levels of practitioners - so whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced Yogi, there will be options for everyone.
I also offer Private sessions. These can be a 1:1, a small group (like your family) or a work team bonding event - whatever your reason I am here for you. These sessions allow you to ask questions, focus more on your own practice, nail a specific pose - but mostly they help you to build CONFIDENCE in your practice and in yourself. This is my jam - working in a closer environment where we can focus entirely on you, that's where the magic happens.
In my classes you can expect a little bit of mindfulness mixed with a lot of FUN, as we adventure through the body and mind together.
